A Pregnancy at Work Risk Assessment is a legal requirement carried out by an employer to ensure the health and safety of a pregnant employee, a worker who has recently given birth, or an employee who is breastfeeding.

The assessment identifies workplace hazards that could affect the employee or baby and ensures appropriate control measures are put in place to reduce or eliminate risks.
